1886

Creation of the printing press

First a printing house, the great history of the brand began in Paris in 1886 in the footsteps of its founder Charles Draeger.

Named “Draeger et Lesieur” then Draeger Frère at the turn of the century, the printing company moved to Montrouge in 1908, buoyed by its growing success.

XIXth century

INVENTION OF THE PROCESS 301

Thanks to a unique color reproduction process, the 301 process, the printing house quickly became renowned for the quality of its production.

It will mainly focus on publishing catalogs, brochures, advertisements but also art books.

Twentieth century

HISTORICAL COLLABORATIONS

Draeger wrote some of the most beautiful iconographic pages of the 20th century, working with big names in luxury and collaborating with artists like Dali, Picasso, Cocteau and Matisse.

In 1956, the house diversified its activity and bought one of its oldest collaborators: Yvon Editions, known for the photographs of their creator Pierre-Yves Petit.

2011 to 2020

NEW ACQUISITIONS

5 generations later and capitalizing on its values: quality and creativity, the Draeger Paris house continues its diversification and acquired the Hallmark license in 2011.

In 2020, the group is expanding its offering by integrating the Toga brand, an expert in DIY, scrapbooking and organizational stationery, as well as the Tie Rack brand, a famous fashion accessories brand.

2021

OPENING OF 40 SHOPS

2021 marks a turning point in the history of the bold brand.

Draeger Paris is betting on opening 40 stores in less than a year, spread across France. And it is with great pleasure that we see you there.
